Community Cooks

Workshops

Tailored to meet the needs of families, new and soon-to-be mothers, youth, and partner organizations, Community Cooks is an opportunity to come together to grow, cook, eat and learn. Even preschoolers can join with the Fresh Start Garden which integrates a garden curriculum into the mix of Community Cooks. Participants learn from each other about cooking, nutrition and social justice issues that impact the communities.

Our Events

Appetite For Change Events are lively, community-led efforts that include the Community Cooks workshops, collaborative garden workdays, leadership trainings, community meetings, classes at Kindred Kitchen, and many more exciting opportunities for people to get involved with whats happening in their community.
