Baked Chicken Nuggets

  • baking Sheet
  • cutting board
  • knife
  • resealable plastic bag
  • measuring utensil


  • 1 cup of cornflakes
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tps Italian seasoning
  • 1-1/2 boneless chicken, thawed cut-into 1 -inch pieces
  • non-stick cooking spray


  1. Heat oven to 400f

  2. Place cornflakes in re-sealable plastic bag and crush to crumbs using hands, a cup or rolling pin.

  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and Italian seasoning (optional) to crumbs. Seal bag and shake well.

  4. Add a few pieces of chicken at a time to crumb mixture. Shake to coat evenly.

  5. Spray a baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray. Place chicken pieces on the cooking sheet so they are not touching.

  6. Place baking sheet in oven. Bake for 16-20 Minutes. Check chicken by cutting into the center to make sure they are cooked through.
