Homemade Vinaigrette to top off your green salad
- air tight container (or a bowl and whisk)
- Measuring utensils
- 1/4 cup balsamic cinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
If using an air tight container add all of the ingredients, place lid on and make sure it's on completely without any leaks.
Shake the container vigorously until the oil and vinegar are well combined into a creamy dressing.
If using a whisk, place vinegar, salt and pepper in the bowl. Slowly drizzle the oil into the bowl while whisking the vinegar very fast. The stream of oil falling into the bowl should be no wider than 1/8 inch. Drizzle the oil very slowly, whisking continuously until the consistency is a creamy vinaigrette.
