Brown Sugar Spiced Salmon

  • 1/2 C. drake brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Chile powder
  • 1 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 eight ounce salmon fillets


  1. Preheat oven to 400° Line a baking sheet with foil

  2. Under cool water rinse off the salmon set aside in a bowl

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, Chile powder, salt and pepper.

  4. Layer salmon on the baking sheet. Evenly sprinkling the sugar-spice mixture over the top of the fillets fish

  5. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on thickness and desired doneness

  6. Remove baking sheet from oven using oven mitts , let cool 5 minutes, using a spatula remove Salmon from baking sheet unto a serving plate.
