Macaroni & Cheese

Stove Top style

Materials

  • Measuring utensils
  • 1-Large bowl
  • Mixing spoon
  • Strainer
  • 1-Large pot
  • 1-Sauce pan

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry elbow macaroni
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups american cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni following package directions. Drain well

  2. Melt butter in separate pan. Add flour, salt and pepper. Stir until smooth. Add milk slowly while stirring.

  3. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.

  4. Stir in cheese. cook until the cheese melts.

  5. Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce and heat through.
