Oven- Fried Chicken

  • Baking sheet
  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Baking pan
  • Re-sealable plastic bag
  • Measuring utensil


  • 3-3 1/2 lbs Chicken ( legs,thigh,wing, breast)
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika


  1. Heat oven to 425 F

  2. Place margarine in a 13x9-inch pan or any pan. Place pan in oven for 2-3 minutes until margarine is melted. Remove pan from oven.

  3. Mix the flour,slat, and paprika in a large re-sealable plastic bag.

  4. Place a few pieces of chicken at a time inn the bag. Seal the bag an shake to coat chicken with flour mixture.

  5. Place chicken in single layer in margarine in pan.

  6. Bake uncovered 30 minutes. Remove from oven and turn chicken pieces over. Continue baking 30 minutes longer until chicken pieces are tender and done.
