Urban Agriculture Volunteer
Appetite For Change is a non-profit organization that uses food as a tool to create health, wealth, and social change. |

Goal Working with the Urban Ag team within the two urban farm sites, assisting with the daily work needed to grow 10,000 pounds of produce. |
|
Responsibilities Communicate with the Urban Ag Manager to schedule time to participate in the planting, weeding, watering, harvesting of crops. Building raised beds, maintaining compost, laying drip line irrigation systems, and garden clean up. |

Impact Your time will create a lasting impact in the community of North Minneapolis, where we will grow and distribute 10,000 pounds of produce. |

Qualifications HS Diploma/GED, cross cultural communication skills, the ability to bend and work physically outside for an extended period of time and lift up to 50 lbs. |
