We are seeking a VP of Finance and Administration who is responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, and financial reporting activities, including the oversight of budgets, cash flow, revenue, expenses, and accounting and ensuring the ongoing improvement of efficiencies in financial systems and processes. The VP is responsible for planning for the strategic growth of AFC through financial forecasting, risk management and growing the organization’s financial and administrative capacity.
We are seeking a full-time Program Facilitator to work in the Youth Training and Opportunity Program (YTOP). The YTOP Facilitator recruits and mentors YTOP Interns and facilitates and implements the Youth Training and Opportunity Program (YTOP). The YTOP Facilitator serves as an ambassador for AFC within the greater community. The work is both in-person and virtually and takes place during day, evening and weekend hours.
We are seeking a full-time Prep/Line Cook for our Station 81 location. The person will prepare made-from-scratch, high quality, delicious food by following detailed recipes in collaboration with the Kitchen Team and Kitchen Manager. The Cook also performs catering duties on-site or off-site based on the catering event schedule. The days and hours may vary depending upon scheduled events.
We are seeking a 35 Hour a week dishwasher to work at our restaurants. The primary location would be Station 81 located in Union Depot in St. Paul, MN. This person will work with the Kitchen Staff and Kitchen Manager to ensure dishes, silverware, pots and pans, as well as other kitchen items used in the preparation of food at the restaurants are cleaned. Additionally this position will be responsible for maintaining the restrooms and helping to clean the kitchen and other prep areas. The usual schedule of this position is Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 pm to 8 pm, hours may vary depending on needs of the kitchen.
We are seeking a full-time Kitchen Manager for our North Minneapolis location. The person is responsible for the overall execution in the kitchen line, ensuring that all foods are prepared according to standards and that waste is minimized, developing kitchen staff to exceed expectations & overs, schedules, trains and completes initial interviews for new staff. This position manages and helps develop Lead Line cooks to ensure Quality, Cleanliness & Productivity are meeting expectations. Days and hours are based on kitchen and catering needs.
We are seeking a full-time Program Facilitator to work in the Community Cooks program. The Community Cooks Program Facilitator Job plans for, assists and leads in-house and contracted Community Cooks workshops, which occur during weekends and evenings.
Appetite For Change is seeking to hire a part-time hourly position to serve as Bartender. The person in this position will serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction. This position may also be responsible to work as the server in the Station 81.
Appetite For Change is seeking to hire a full-time hourly position to serve as Driver – Catering Events. The person in this position will perform a variety of tasks involved in the delivery, set-up, and pick up of deliveries for catered events. FULL TIME $15 – $17 per hour
