Volunteer Coordinator Assistant

Appetite For Change is a non-profit organization that uses food as a tool to create health, wealth, and social change. 

This position was created to provide support to AFC in the area of community engagement with individuals/interns and groups. 

Assisting with the volunteer process, recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, engaging in the activity, tracking hours, and appreciating volunteers. There will be an Orientation, then 1:1 meetings held by the Senior Engagement Officer. 

At AFC we have found that building relationships is vital to creating social change and when we can create space to hear the voices of people or the community beyond our neighborhoods, we find that there are similarities, and innovative ideas that can be To Strengthen not just our neighborhood but those outside as well. 

HS diploma/GED, computer literacy, customer service skill as in, cross cultural communication, ability to create an inclusive atmosphere, effective communication, and critical thinking.
